ABOUT US
Since its establishment by Roddy Hogan, as an architectural and town-planning consultancy in the 1970s, the Practice has expanded its capacity and skills in parallel with the needs of its clients – and in response to increasingly rapid changes in the marketplace and in the complexity of building and planning regulations. It now has three working directors, each responsible for differing but related aspects of design, planning and construction, and a highly-skilled backup staff.
We undertake a range of projects of differing scales from bespoke houses to large commercial projects.

PATRICK O'HANLON
Managing Director

Patrick joined the practice in 1990. Beyond managing the practice, Patrick brings his expertise to project management and coordination of commercial and large scale projects.
BRIAN CURTIN
Technical Director

Brian joined the practice in 1993 and is responsible for leading our technical output, and Building Regulation compliance. In addition, Brian heads up our Town Planning advice service.
ANDREW LANE

Andrew merged his previous practice, Lane Architects, with Hogan Architecture in 2016 upon Roddy Hogan's well deserved retirement. In addition to the role of architect within the practice, he also lectures in architecture at the Cork Centre for Architectural Education.
CHRISTOPHER FITZGERALD
Graduate Architect
Bsc. (Hons.)
Chris is mainly involved in producing planning design drawings, and carries out much of our three-dimensional rendering work. He is preparing for his RIAI professional accreditation.
PATRICK HICKEY

Patrick is mainly involved with the production of technical and construction information, which also involves site inspections.
BERNADETTE CREMIN
Practice Administrator
Ber was the administrator for Lane Architects before joining the practice in 2016.
